About The Position

Involved in all aspects of media campaigns including concept & strategy, graphic, presentation,

digital animation design, and video editing used to represent the City and its program or services.

This position will be expected to produce high quality dynamic digital media using editing tools.

Work with highly motivated team to accomplish community outreach and engagement on behalf of

the Police Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area which may

include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following:

  • Develops layout and design for projects which includes, but not limited to: web pages, logos,

interactive media, brochures, books, reports, posters, invitations and stationery.

  • Creates concepts and initial ideas for advertising campaigns, marketing strategies, video

programs, all employee forum programs and volunteer programs.

  • Participates as a team member to coordinate the employee awards program, all employee

forums, Mayor and Council special events and neighborhood open houses.

  • Produces and edits JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and other web based programming

languages for use on city websites.

  • Works on developing and running high level city presentations and meetings such as the

scheduled City Council meetings and Work Study sessions.

  • Implements, manages and troubleshoots web video technology, works with vendor on

upgrades and repairs.

  • Works on design, planning and systems analysis, configuration and training of employees on

enterprise systems, specialized applications, and presentation display technology including

troubleshooting and support of presentation, projector, and voting equipment used to

conduct City Council meetings.
