Television Video Production Internship

 

PraDa Law is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Television Production Assistant to work with our production team our Law T.V. Show! This position will cover a broad spectrum of television production including elements of Live television, plus all aspects of post-production. This is a fast-paced environment comprised of dedicated individuals. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in video. This person should understand the production process from development to post-production. Intern will be directed by a senior video editor throughout their work and will be trained to grow their video editing skills. This is an unpaid internship that will provide a wealth of experience in the field and possibly lead to a permanent position on our television production team.

 

PraDa Law is multi-jurisdictional law firm with a success in Consumer Law, Bankruptcy, Real Estate Law, Criminal Matters, Immigration, Civil Disputes, Entertainment Law, Personal Injury cases, and more. We have three offices in the following locations: Doral, Midtown Miami, and Medellin, Colombia. We value our strong reputation among colleagues, opposing counsel, judges, trustees, legal circles, and former clients.

We air an informative law television show live Monday through Friday at 8am on Mega TV, a well-known television network within the Hispanic community. On Mondays, we air the Bankruptcy show, on Tuesdays we air the Immigration show, on Wednesdays we air the Finance show, and on Friday we air the Free show. Also, we broadcast live on digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, and more. Besides that, we air a radio show on EL SOL 102.7 FM and Zeta 92.3 FM on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8am.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist and execute all aspects of video production including, creative concept and development, shooting, motion graphics creation, and video editing

Prepping television studio for all video shoots

Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Must be at least 18 years old

Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

An interest in live video production

Extreme attention to detail

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way

Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in communications, TV production, or related field. Candidates receiving credit for participating in our internship program are preferred.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students will be able to identify and demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of live television video production

Students will be able to analyze and critique a variety of television media products, case studies and issues

Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of ethical issues related to the media
