The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade is looking for a dynamic social media intern to help us advance women and girls initiatives.

Interns will learn how to promote the work of nonprofit organizations, create and maintain engagement with community partners through social media platforms, develop communications strategies to support fundraising and advocacy initiatives, and engage new supporters. Interns will be responsible for creating social media content, thus familiarity with graphic design tools and apps is preferred.

The duration of the internship will be from August 23 to December 17, 2021. The internship can be for one semester or more depending on the student’s interest and availability.

The student is expected to work a minimum of ten (10) hours per week, or more depending on interest and availability. The student will report to the Research and Program Associate, Viviana Alvarado.

Our current campaigns focus on issues like equal pay, freedom from sex and human trafficking, domestic violence, girls leadership, and reproductive health and rights. Join us and be part of the organization leading the women’s movement in Miami. Be Women Strong, World Strong!
