Do you know what coffee and donuts taste like? Good.
Like Dunkin’ ? Even better.
Are you a social media maven who is up to date on the newest TikTok trends, viral memes, and loves making cool content? YOU’RE HIRED. Well almost…
We are looking for a Social Media and Loyalty Intern to join our team! The #1 goal of this role is to support community management, including but not limited to content creation and having fun finding local influencers, grow our PERKS loyalty base and chip in on administrative tasks when time permits. Oh, one last thing….we are a franchisee of over 30 Church’s Chicken restaurants and a franchisor of 4 pizza concepts with over 100 restaurants (You’ll find more about us under Askar Brands)…so you’ll definitely have the opportunity to work across brands as part of your internship! (Majority of work on Dunkin’, we think!)
The ideal candidate
You are a full-time college student in your junior or senior year majoring in digital/social marketing in S. Florida (Miami-West Palm Beach). You are looking to gain experience in community and social media management in a mission driven company.
You will be starting to work with us in June and will be available to work 15-30 hours a week (and perhaps more based upon interest and need) and preferably would like to stay for at least 6 months. The position is remote (you’ll be given a computer and all the passwords you’ll ever need)-but you must have a car and be able to drive to restaurants from Miami to West Palm Beach a few times a week while you are working on growing the PERKS database!
We’re Looking For Someone Who Will
· Support the Social Media manager and marketing team at large
· Develop a quick understanding of our unique brand(s) tone of voice and the ability to maintain that tone of voice in written communications (not always easy when flipping amongst the brands)
· Connect with Serious Friends: You know… Identify and vet potential influencer partners (earned and paid)
· Assist with the community management of our social platforms by responding to consumer’s questions, tweets, and direct messages
· Capture photos and video when in our restaurants
· Draft written copy like Instagram captions, tweets, Facebook posts, and LinkedIn posts
· Collaborate with our in-house creative team to create content for use on social platforms
· Connect with local partners for cross cross-promotional opportunities for all brands
· Understand basic features of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.)
· Lend a hand: We’re a scrappy, tight-knit crew here at Dunkin’ (and the rest of our brands), and every one of us wears a lot of hats. Just like us, you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and jumping in on administrative tasks to support the team.
Sound like something that interests you?
You want to raise the bar in the coffee industry with us as our new Social Media Intern? Then send us your resume!
· We’re currently all remote, so instead of drinking a latte in the office with you, all interviews will be held virtually. If your application piqued our interest to get to know you better, you’ll have a call with our Social Media Manager who will discuss the basics with you. Hoping you’re successful, you’ll get to show your skills in a short case study we provide to you and a few other rock stars and then set you up for final interviews. During these interviews/calls, you’ll speak to the rest of the team!
· One final thing to note…We will request that you provide proof of undergraduate studies in Marketing, Social Media, PR, or Marketing (letter verification or course transcript) for this internship.
