- This spring internships is 15 weeks long and a max of 20 hours a week
- Spring internships start January 24th and end May 13th

We’re on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and about working toward a career in the retail industry.
Interns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks.
Overview:
The Public Relations & Social Media Intern will help to assist the social team in coordinating and executing the brand’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. They will assist in content planning and scheduling, social strategy and monitor analytics to identify viable ideas. They will work on the long lead and short lead public relations projects. Their day-to-day will be heavily influenced by the relevant ongoing campaigns, and they will play an important role in the success of vineyard vines’ public relations messaging, outreach and event support.
This position contributes to the overall success of vineyard vines. We are looking for a well-organized, talented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team. This candidate should be proactive in their approach, look for opportunities to improve upon existing structures and find creative ways to utilize best practices.
You Will:
- Assist social team in brainstorming campaign ideas and with day to day projects for all social platforms
- Community management on Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
- Assist in creating presentations for senior leadership regarding analytics, audience growth, and competitive analysis
- Contribute to social media posts and ideas including images, videos, captions and helping to create a content calendar.
- Work with the team to help develop a Twitter strategy and schedule
- Monitoring social media activity created by vineyard vines retail stores nationwide for consistency and brand integrity
- Demonstrate the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization
- Assisting with product seeding and selection for new and established bloggers, influencers and celebrities
- Maintaining a relationship with internal teams and external agencies to oversee sample trafficking and product placement
- Monitoring social media and blog presence relating to our influencer network
- Working closely with PR team to help coordinate necessities for upcoming press trips, events, etc.
- Demonstrates the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Understands and adheres to all policies related to the organization
What you bring:
- Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similarly related major
- Interest in social media, influencer marketing and content creation
- Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and YouTube
- Genuine interest in the brand
- Proficiency in Photoshop or Illustrator
- Willing to work on a variety of projects for various platforms
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational and time management skills are essential as well as the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
