Job Summary

  • The Awareness Intern is responsible for helping to educate the community by building awareness via marketing and volunteer opportunities to support anti-sex trafficking and solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help with online shopping/shipping orders
  • Email/Newsletter/Blog creation
  • Create social media post/ads
  • Update collateral
  • Learn about volunteer process and introduce improvements
  • Learn about development 
  • Learn and improve upon event process (community booths)
  • Conduct speaking engagements and create written materials
  • Set up events/volunteer activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher.
  • Graphic design experience, preferred.
  • Social media experience, required.

  • In the performance of the duties of this job the employee is required to travel (frequency), drive a motor vehicle, communicate using telephone and e-mail.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work Schedule

  • In person or remote. 10-15 hours per week. Some work may involve nights, weekends, or after hours. Intern will receive proper notice beforehand.
