Spring Meadow Nursery Inc. is currently seeking a strategic, data-oriented digital marketing specialist to build our brands online and maximize our digital media buys. Sure, we could contract with any number of capable digital agencies out there, but we know from experience that a full time in-house specialist who devotes their skills and knowledge exclusively to our products and brands yields better results. This position includes but is not limited to PPC, display ads, social media advertising, and analyzing ad performance. This position will also work closely with our content creation team to develop all types of digital assets and position them for maximum impact. Our ideal candidate gets a sparkle in their eye talking about spreadsheets, is driven to decode the “secret recipe” to digital marketing success, and can create and develop distinct strategies for both B2B and B2C channels.
Due to the collaborative aspect of this position, working remotely is not possible.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, test, and manage digital marketing campaigns to maximize product demand, sales, ROI, and brand awareness using search engines, social media, etc. for our brands and companies:
- Spring Meadow Nursery (B2B)
- Proven Winners ColorChoice (B2B & B2C)
- GreatGardenPlants.com and other direct to consumer websites
- Develop strategies to increase the effectiveness and/or profitability of all digital campaigns.
- Maintain and analyze sales data and analytics and recommend adjustments to strategy and tactics.
- Website content, and organizational management
- Allocation of budgets of each digital campaign to make certain the money is effectively spent
- Problem-solving
- Generate reports and analyze data to improve website and advertising performance.
- Communicate data and observations to relevant team members.
- Plan / schedule / evaluate / follow-up work progress and prioritize work activities.
- Responsible for written documentation of all related policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects, as assigned.
- Assist the Marketing Manager as requested
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Education/ Experience 4 yr. degree in business or marketing and two to four years of increasing relevant experience in digital marketing, particularly with search and shopping ads on Google. E-commerce experience is highly desirable, as is experience with the following: Google Analytics, Merchant Center, Facebook Business Manager, and HubSpot. Organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
Performance Requirements:
- Must maintain a level of performance equivalent to company standards, that being a “Meets Expectations” in all areas of your performance evaluations (Self and Management reviews).

Job Type: Full time salary
Pay: starting at $50,000; dependent upon experience. Amount is not inclusive of total compensation package.
