In today’s marketing environment, brands need more content than ever. The problem is that the traditional means of generating the content that they need doesn’t scale: It’s cost prohibitive and doesn’t yield the diverse photos, videos and text reviews that they need to optimize performance.
Cohley is changing the way that the world’s best brands generate & test content by connecting them with an expansive network of talented photographers, content creators, videographers and partners.
Cohley is looking for a Marketing intern to support our content creation, lead generation and lead nurturing, proprietary research, and data management and optimization. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.
Start Date: May 2022
Requirements
- NYC based
- Enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses – all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program (for school credit)
- Be able to commute to our Union Square, NYC office at least 3 days a week.
- Experience creating and editing content for social media (e.g. Facebook posts, videos for LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience with or eagerness to learn CRM best practices
- Ability to juggle multiple, often shifting priorities
- Positive, hungry to learn & humble :)
What you’ll do here
- Learn the in’s and out’s of inbound marketing, lead generation and nurturing, sales enablement, content creation and distribution, and more
- Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Partnerships
- Research industry trends in order to contribute to Cohley newsletter, blog, and website content
- Generate brand awareness and leads via organic and paid social media
- Use CRM and analytical skills to report on marketing campaign efficacy
- Assist with project management of marketing campaigns like webinars in-person events, etc
- Have a direct impact on Cohley’s bottom line and thought leadership

- Are pursuing a major in marketing or business, and/or equivalent internship or work experience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong collaborative working skills
- Are an effective communicator and proactive problem solver
- Are creatively-minded and analytically-grounded
- Are comfortable balancing multiple tasks and projects
- Bonus if you’re well versed in HubSpot, Google sheets, and B2C social media best practices
