iRoofing is seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This in-house position is responsible for presenting the brand online as well as monitoring and responding to comments and messages across company social media channels, developing a social media calendar and posting regularly, conceptualizing ideas to grow our social media following and engagement, monitoring industry trends, and acting as an arm between sales and customer service. Our needs are varied and we work fast, so problem solving and reliability are two primary characteristics that are needed for this role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically tell a consistent story through social media marketing content and ensure company brand standards are met and align with our business.
  • Manage all social media channels, engage with audience, and respond to inquiries.
  • Generate interest in Social Media through initiative whether they are new posts or inviting contractors or other channels to discussions.
  • Respond and moderate all social media comments.
  • Interact with our followers and customers via chat by answering questions, generating quotes and closing the sale.
  • Respond to issues from clients. If unable to do so, transfer the individual to an account management team.
  • Prepare marketing analytics including PR, social media, etc.
  • Work with senior team to implement and execute marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Collaborate with all departments to reach organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain consistent positioning and copy across all social and media outlets.
  • Research marketing and social media best practices and trends.
  • Work with Content Specialist to create and distribute monthly e-newsletter and blog posts.
  • Develop and implement social media and digital strategy that supports organizational needs.
  • Update all web profiles as necessary (i.e. Google,Yelp, etc.)
  • May represent the company to the media, at trade shows, meetings and/or conferences.
  • Invite people who have liked our ads to like our business pages.
  • Respond to people who have commented on our social media platforms.
  • Research and use new tools in social media, campaigns, etc.
  • Monitor brand image within various groups.
  • Transfer leads to the sales team.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently to ensure on-time placement.
  • Participating in company and team meetings.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Take an active part in discussing marketing strategies whether it be emails/social media/videos etc.
  • Communicate with our online marketing manager as well as with the director of marketing.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • YOU are an excellent communicator and have excellent grammar and written english skills.

  • YOU are able to be organized and manage multiple responsibilities at once.
  • YOU have expertise in navigating various social media platforms with ease.
  • YOU work well with tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • YOU have the ability to handle & manage constructive feedback.
  • YOU have a passion for social media and building a brand’s online presence.
  • YOU have excellent interpersonal and empathy skills.
  • YOU have experience using content management and scheduling systems.
  • NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS: Fluent in Spanish/French
  • NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS: A 4-year related degree
