Crusader Talent is hiring a summer intern with strong research, analytical, writing, and communications skills to assist with creating timely, impactful brand marketing campaigns. Responsibilities are catered to your unique interests, skills, and desired learning opportunities. The intern(s) will be fully integrated into the agency’s daily duties, work closely with the Founders and leadership team, and gain the opportunity to learn marketing and communications skills first-hand, from strategy to execution. 

Our internship program commences on May 9th and concludes on July 1st. Applicants must be available 30 hours per week in order to qualify for the internship program.Typical office hours are M-F, 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. This is a remote position with virtual management by the Crusader Talent team, and occasional in-person meetings with the leadership team. This internship is paid and may qualify for college credit.

We hire interns with the potential to turn them into full-time employees and/or part-time interns throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

Support daily operations and broader strategic content plans for Crusader Talent, including:

  • Writing stories based on advertising client direction/goals
  • Writing social media copy to support stories
  • Publishing content via SquareSpace, our newsletter scheduling platform, and social media publishing platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Updating Google spreadsheets to prepare branded content workflow and analytics tracking
  • Working within Asana for online project management
  • Curating media kits for inclusion in sales outreach
  • Designing and implementing case studies for completed activations
  • Learning all skills required to produce and track branded content
  • Conduct a team research project to present to the leadership team

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a career path in digital communications, marketing, public relations, social media or similar
  • A passion for all things social media and influencer marketing (gaming is desirable)
  • Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism major 
  • Self-starter with leadership skills and a passion for communicating information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work effectively with a team and individually in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines
  • Solid understanding of social media
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with G-Suite programs (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs) is a must
  • Experience with social media management, Discord, and Asana is a plus
