Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for someone to get on the ground floor of one of the world’s biggest gaming brands by building out its social media profile. The Social Media Specialist will be charged with building the brand’s Tik Tok strategy – creating channel content that is engaging to the brand’s target audience. The position requires an initiative-taking, creative-minded individual, who is not afraid to get on camera and be the face of the brand for gamers worldwide. This role will also be tasked with helping grow followers through brand partnerships, engagement with other content creators, and working collaboratively with internal and external creative teams.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will update social networks, curate content, and create original content to build an engaged following and grow brand awareness. Additionally, this role will measure success using platform analytics and web analytics tools to track campaign progress. A successful social media specialist will collaborate with marketing, influencer, content, and video teams to align company messages, promotions, and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Sr. Manager of Social Media, Brand Marketing Team, and Creative teams to develop Tik-Tok profile and content calendar with the other Social Media Specialist
- Create content that engages with the Turtle Beach target gamer audience to grow the channel following and build brand loyalty
- Partner with influencer partners, external creative, and internal creative resources to build additional content
- Understand brand values & aesthetics and translate them into new social campaign ideas
- Develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness
- Review the success of campaigns and develop ways to improve
- Monitor engagement and moderate customer inquiries
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires consistent outreach effort
- Outside the box thinker with a passion for creative
- Ability to create storyboards and schedule daily story ideas
- Self-starter with a passion for creative content and working with artists
- Proficient in creating TikTok, Instagram Stories, Snap Chat – comfortable with being on camera & talking to fans
- Have knowledge and passion for gaming
