Department/Project overview:
The DLT marketing department is comprised of three business units: marketing campaign management, marketing operations and marketing communications.
The marketing campaign management team handles marketing communication activities related to technology vendor and channel partner campaigns, and is the point-of-contact for technology companies that partner with DLT. Marketing operations oversees our database, marketing automation and the tools that DLT’s marketing department uses in our day-to-day operation. The marketing communications team handles public relation, DLT brand activities, DLT IP promotion, the GovHub program, social media, creative services, and Market Intelligence and Office of the Chief Technology Officer promotion.
Areas of the business that the intern would partner with:
- The intern will work with the marketing communications team on a number actions including administrative tasks, queuing social media posts, entering marketing requests in Work Front and other duties as assigned.
Project responsibilities/deliverables:
- Work with the digital marketing specialists to schedule social media posts.
- Collaborate with the marketing communications team on the execution of administrative tasks (e.g., schedule meetings, file migration, traffic marketing development funds (MDF) claims)
- Enter marketing requests in DLT’s ticketing system (i.e., Work Front)
- Assigned other marketing communications team actions based on need.
Must be a US citizen.
