AMETEK is looking for a versatile and highly motivated Digital Content Specialist with expertise in content marketing, content creation, and distribution. This role’s primary responsibility is to help the Corporate Marketing team engage with key audiences through multiple channels by improving and elevating external communications through creative and effective storytelling.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Develop effective communications and content marketing plans that provide value and fulfill the need of our external audiences.
  • Support communications plans through content development and creation.
  • Help develop and contribute to a content calendar in collaboration with the external communications team.
  • Focus on website development, emerging social media trends, and other key areas of external communication, such as email.
  • Support the continued development and growth of the AMETEK brand through content plans and initiatives.
  • Build strong internal stakeholder relationships to support content marketing and distribution efforts.
  • Work closely with regional teams across the global organization to curate and share local content, events, promotions, etc.
  • Continually monitor content marketing best practices and emerging trends to find ways to adopt and integrate digital innovations.
  • Use available tools and software to track and report on the performance and effectiveness of content marketing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA in communications, digital media, public relations or emerging technology.
  • 1 – 2 years of demonstrated ability in content marketing, digital media, social media and/or communications field (internship experience will also apply)
  • Experience with B2B marketing is preferred.
  • Highly creative storyteller experienced in crafting compelling messaging and narratives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Expertise in writing and editing for digital media.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other emerging social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of email marketing clients and best practices is desired.
  • Knowledge of content strategy best practices, visual trends, and emerging digital technologies, is desired.
