HJ Sims, established in 1935, is a full-service investment bank specializing in structuring and underwriting senior living and long-term care financings, including tax exempt and taxable bonds, mezzanine loans, equity, seed money, bank financing, and FHA-insured loans. This position is responsible for supporting the marketing department and may include the following activities: implementation and execution of marketing strategies and tactics to support the goals and objectives of HJ Sims with a high focus on digital competencies, for example, building and enhancing awareness of HJ Sims within the digital space, as well as the performance of hjsims.com. This position may manage and execute digital marketing components, such as social media content, digital marketing, online advertising, website and/or search engine optimization and related analytics. The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related area of study.
Possible Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the implementation of a superior digital/e-commerce strategy that supports growth targets and enhances brand engagement.
• Manage the development and accuracy of content on hjsims.com
• Manage, maintain and optimize HJ Sims employee intranet.
• Manage, maintain and optimize HJ Sims social media presence.
• Develop awareness, lead generation and nurture campaigns that bring the HJ Sims identity to life with breakthrough creative and messaging that drives consideration.
• Execute web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders to maximize the value of digital communications and initiatives for each business unit.
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
• Plan, execute and measures test-and-learn opportunities.
• Identify critical conversion points and drop off points, and enhance user funnels.
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Capabilities:
• Ability to work independently

• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Creative Suite
• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications ((e.g. HTML, WordPress, Google Analytics, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints)
