Diadem Sports Training Program – Marketing Internship
About Us: Founded in 2015, Diadem is the fastest-growing sports equipment brand in the world. Through extensive research and rigorous testing, we’ve developed a full product line of top-performing tennis and pickleball gear for players, coaches, and clubs worldwide. We are headquartered in Pompano Beach, FL, and proudly an American-owned sports company.
Our Program: The Diadem Sports Marketing Internship is a completely hands-on internship program designed to give Marketing, Business, and Communication students direct experience contributing to a fast-growing startup in the Sporting Industry. Through the 12-week program, members will be trained in our business model, branding, and marketing strategies while gaining valuable experience in their field of study. Students in the program will have the ability to then strategize, create, and execute social media campaigns to help promote the brand.
We aren’t looking for team members to run trivial errands. We’re looking for team members that solve problems and get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Help to manage social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Create engaging and interactive social media content
- Create marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive site traffic, and generate revenue
- Assist in marketing and social media strategies
- Create and organize photos and edits
- Help to support business development team
- Collaborate with leadership team on sales and marketing strategies
- Introduce deals, offers, and promotions to accounts and customers
- Contribute to product development and strategy meetings
Requirements and Qualifications/Skills:
- The ability to work 15-18 hours per week (M-F) with flexible schedule to work around classes and exams
- Marketing, Business, or Communication majors preferred; other majors considered
- Experience interfacing with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Experience in content creation
- Understanding of marketing concepts and principles
- Knowledge of digital advertising and social media promotional campaigns
- Must have a passion for learning and developing new skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- An optimistic, positive attitude with a “get it done” mentality
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and overall computer competency
