Job Description:

This role is responsible for assisting with digital marketing efforts for Microchip Technology’s e-commerce department.

Critical Duties: Assist with marketing activities to generate additional revenue for our e-commerce site; coordinate with internal customers and purchasing and client service team members to complete promotional activity; assist as needed with campaign management, metrics/analytics, social media, search engine marketing and more.

  • Contributes to campaign development and management
  • Assists with graphics for web and advertising efforts
  • Participates in social media activities, including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
  • Assists in updating website
  • Participates in search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Provides additional support to team members as needed, including inventory feed and presentation updates, and other administrative functions

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:         

  

Minimum some college coursework in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design or work experience in fast-paced Marketing department. Prior experience a plus.

Knowledge :

       

Knowledge of and proficiency in PC computer tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office) and social media platforms. Experience with SEM, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop) and/or content management systems a plus.

  • Working knowledge of marketing, e-commerce and advertising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharp grammar skills
  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and strength in dealing with tight deadlines and rapidly changing situations
