The B2B Product Design teams is accepting applications for our 10-week Summer 2023 Internship Program which will begin June 5, 2023. This internship experience will provide you with the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from experienced product designers, exposure to the software development life-cycle, and you will walk away with valuable real-world design assets for your portfolio. Hours can be flexible to fit your schedule, from 20-40 hours weekly. With industry-leading technology and digital marketing services, our team shares a commitment to supporting local commerce, enabling businesses to connect with customers where we live, work, and serve.
This opportunity is fully remote. A company issued laptop will be provided.
As an Intern working with the product design team, you will develop and apply your experience and skills supporting and interacting directly with our Product Designers on tasks, included but not limited to:
- Competitor/industry analysis and research
- Design project planning and kick-off
- Information architecture and flow charts
- Design system maintenance
- Concepting and exploration
- UX and wireframes
- Visual design and UI
- User research and usability testing
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
What you will bring to the table:
- Knowledge of and experience using Figma
- A design generalist, with experience in user research, user experience designs, and visual design
- A desire to learn about all aspects of the product design process
- Technologically savvy and a fast learner
- Critical thinking with creative abilities
- Degree-seeking student currently enrolled at a college or university
- Interest in B2B (Business to Business), SaaS (Software as a Service), SMBs (Small to Mid-Sized Businesses), and digital marketing
The hourly rate for this role will range between $8.22 and $19.35. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
