Senior Account Executive, Technology PR – Hybrid Work Structure

(Los Angeles and San Francisco but Open to Various Locations in CT and PT)

We’re looking for someone to:

Join BCW as a Senior Account Executive to support consumer and enterprise Technology clients. As an integral member of the team, the Senior Account Executive will support established and emerging Enterprise Brands spanning the sectors of Consumer Electronics, Cybersecurity, IoT, 5G and Cloud.

Working in partnership with senior and junior team members, the Senior Account Executive will assist in crafting strategy and provide execution around events, integrated media and influencer relations, partnerships and large communication campaigns.

What is the Work?

  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and manage workstreams and teams on program implementations
  • Work with account leaders, to help in facilitating planning, strategy development, drafting of communications plans and execution
  • Drive story idea development for wide range of clients including the ability to track industry trends and identify opportunities to insert our clients into current news cycles
  • Develop content including plans, competitive analysis’, executive and corporate thought leadership documents, event recommendations, media strategy and more.

Experience that contributes to your success:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in public relations
  • Experience within the technology industry – Business to Business and Business to Consumer
  • Strong and proven media relations skills and execution ideally with trade and consumer top-tier technology and business outlets and platform
  • Experience with corporate reputation needs, including awards/rankings, speaking opportunities and thought leadership
  • Ability to be nimble, organized and professional in high-growth environments
  • Ability to work both within a geographically diverse team and independently when necessary
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Skilled at thinking creatively and bringing new ideas to clients and prospects

In California, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $50,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
