Job Description

This position will track, prioritize, and manage analytics implementation tagging requests, including basic tagging for new pages, tracking enhancements, fixing existing tracking to help optimize our paid media efforts that will allow the analytics and Media Planning teams to drive insights and revenue. Subject matter expert for all technical aspects related to paid media and web analytics tagging, requiring knowledge of all new site enhancements to inform tagging recommendations on website.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for implementation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and data governance of the tags in Tealium (tag management platform). Performs this responsibility in partnership with assigned agencies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tag management architecture and analytics implementation
  • Independently audits and monitor tags to identify data quality issues. Provide recommendations to correct as needed
  • Gather and understand business needs from various Carnival stakeholders, (media team, web team and developers) and recommend an implementation plan based on digital analytics best practices
  • Serve as liaison between tag management vendor and Carnival stakeholders
  • Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Marketing preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in web analytics, page tagging, and tracking guest/visitor behavior across web pages
  • Tealium or Google tag manage is required
  • Experience with paid media a plus.
  • Must be able to code and implement page tags to track specific business objectives
  • Experience with SQL and databases strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, SAS is a plus
