The School of Journalism and Mass Communication Celebrates the Pulitzer Centennial

On 3/31 the SJMC celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prizes with South Florida winning teams from the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald. If you missed the event you can still learn how these inspiring reporters and photographers got that exceptional story or photo by watching our videos here.

The Pulitzer Prizes have decided to mark their centennial by creating a video that documents in 12 1/2 minutes the entirety of 100 years’ worth of awards. With a focus on Social Justice and Equality, War and Peace, The Presidency, and Power and Accountability, they have created the following video, which we urge you to watch so as to greater appreciate the importance of this moment.
