
Samuel Belilty is a ten-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer of Journalism at Florida International University (FIU) and as Producer and Host of Sentido Común, a live digital program exploring reinvention and current affairs through sharp, thought-provoking interviews.
He is also a partner at LegacyTales, a boutique production company that creates cinematic biographical documentaries to help families preserve their elders’ life stories for future generations.
Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of News for Univision 23 in Miami, following successful tenures as News Director in Dallas, San Antonio, and Fresno. Prior to relocating to the U.S., he held multiple roles at Venezuela’s RCTV, including reporter, anchor, executive producer of El Observador, and creator and host of the documentary series 48 Horas. He also hosted the radio news program Informe RCR.
Belilty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from the Central University of Venezuela, with postgraduate studies in Organizational Development (UCAB) and Bilingual and Bicultural Studies (UTSA), and is the author of M 7:15: The Return of God, a philosophical thriller available in both Spanish and English, where he blends his journalistic insight with a gripping, cinematic storytelling style.
