Stephanie Bertini is an award-winning television journalist with almost two decades of experience between the United States and Canada. Currently, she reports for Fox 5 New York. She is based in Manhattan.
Stephanie sits on the Kopenhaver Center Leadership Council at Florida International University. Deeply committed to journalism, she also serves on the RTDNA Board of Directors. Her passion for passing down the craft is evidenced by her work as an adjunct professor. After more than a decade in the business, in 2019, Stephanie completed a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Miami. She completed her undergraduate studies in Canada where she was born and raised.
Stephanie’s experience ranges from investigative reporting to anchoring. She has hosted traffic, entertainment, and weather segments. Her resume includes working as a Miami-based correspondent for BNC-the Black New Channel. She spent six years on-air working for NBC 6 South Florida. She worked for ABC affiliate WFTV in Central Florida, KRGV-TV in South Texas, and Canadian television station CTV News Northern Ontario. Her first gig in television came as a lifestyle segment reporter for a Canadian cable station.
Stephanie has received industry recognition for her work, including the prestigious National Edward. R Murrow Award. She recently received an Emmy nomination for her current project which is a series of stories detailing the migrant crisis in New York City.
