Sarah Mayorca is a multimedia journalism student and reporter with Caplin News at Florida International University, where she produces broadcast and digital stories that inform and engage the South Florida community. She focuses on clear, compelling reporting that highlights diverse voices and culturally relevant issues.

Born in Venezuela and raised in the United States, Sarah brings a multicultural perspective to her work. Her reporting experience includes live production, field coverage, and multimedia storytelling across platforms. She is especially interested in community-centered journalism and stories that create meaningful dialogue.

As she prepares to enter the professional job market, Sarah aims to pursue a career in multimedia reporting where she can deliver accurate, impactful journalism with integrity and purpose.

Outside the newsroom, she is a dedicated flamenco dancer, an art form that continues to shape her discipline, creativity, and leadership style.
