EPS Group is currently seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to support the survey department on ALTA surveys, topographic mapping, aerial control surveys and construction staking in the Mesa AZ office.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of Survey Party Chief experience performing ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys and Construction Staking experience in the field together with the following:
- Survey work performed for this position will be under the direction of a Licensed Survey Project Manager
- The Survey Crews are the eyes on the ground and fully responsible for following all directions and collecting all data requested for that particular project
- EPS utilizes Trimble GPS and robotic total stations instruments for data collection and construction layout. A strong working knowledge of this equipment is desired.
- The ability to read and understand Civil Engineering Plans and Construction Drawings for field staking
- The ability to perform or learn AutoCAD to prepare project calculations for field staking
- The ability to prepare survey cut-sheets for field staking
- The ability to read and follow detailed directions and requirements on specific survey scopes
- Perform ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, aerial control surveys and construction staking projects in the field
- Upload and download survey data daily from the Trimble TSC3 data collectors
- Communicate daily with the Project Manager and field scheduling coordinator
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow directions
- Possess strong communication and time management skills
