Position: SENIOR SITE PLANNER (Multiple Positions)
Salary: $66,555 Annually

Location: 2300 N. Jog Road, WPB
Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday
Other: Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Valid Florida Driver’s License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
Professional site planning work involving all phases of the land development regulatory process. Performs advanced reviews of the full range of land development applications including rezoning, conditional/requested uses, variances, plats, master/site/landscape plans, architectural elevations/building plans and related documents. Analyzes complex site plans based upon their compliance with the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) requirements and the functional relationships among their internal and external elements such as structures, signage, vehicular use areas, on-site and off-site improvements, pedestrian movement, landscaping, aesthetic quality, environmental conditions and other appropriate design elements. Exercises considerable independent judgment and work is reviewed by a professional superior through reports, conferences and observation of results obtained. May supervise professional, technical and clerical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban/Regional Planning or closely related design field; minimum of three (3) years of experience involving the enforcement of land development codes and ordinances. Equivalency: Related Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related experience OR Unrelated Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH: Conducting oral presentations at public hearings/citizen review committees/advisory boards; report writing; site/architectural design and review enforcement; form-based code writing; supervising personnel.
