United Franchise Group is hiring a Social Media Manager. This is someone who is innovative, forward-thinking, and strategically minded. You will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and monitoring marketing & website services for United Franchise Group. The ideal candidate would have about 3-5 years’ experience in marketing & website management, with a strong concentration in social media, digital media, and in the franchising industry. 

Job Description

 Your Key Responsibilities

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns & strategies, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
  • Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee Website changes directed by the Marketing Fund and Brand
  • Name changes and digital name assessment
  • Online reputation management and monitoring
  • Franchisee direct support (password resets, update sites, etc..)
  • Owner assistance with Google My Business / Facebook Business
  • Oversee all online Brand assets (over 30 sites)
  • Brand site updates
  • Create company & Ecommerce stores for Franchisees
  • POS support
  • Intranet management
  • Google Analytics reports – Checks and balances
  • HTML Email newsletter conversions with various platforms
  • Distribution and management of generated leads
  • Assist the Franchisee Ad Fund with digital marketing initiatives
  • Liaison with Franchisee hired agencies
  • Find & assess new vendors for digital services
  • Monitor the online competitive landscape for products & franchise sales with reporting and recommendations

Qualifications

 Requirements & Skills 

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Facebook Business)
  • Working knowledge of project management platforms (e.g., Asana)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad-words campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
