United Franchise Group is hiring a Social Media Manager. This is someone who is innovative, forward-thinking, and strategically minded. You will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and monitoring marketing & website services for United Franchise Group. The ideal candidate would have about 3-5 years’ experience in marketing & website management, with a strong concentration in social media, digital media, and in the franchising industry.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities
- Planning digital marketing campaigns & strategies, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
- Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
- Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
- Oversee Website changes directed by the Marketing Fund and Brand
- Name changes and digital name assessment
- Online reputation management and monitoring
- Franchisee direct support (password resets, update sites, etc..)
- Owner assistance with Google My Business / Facebook Business
- Oversee all online Brand assets (over 30 sites)
- Brand site updates
- Create company & Ecommerce stores for Franchisees
- POS support
- Intranet management
- Google Analytics reports – Checks and balances
- HTML Email newsletter conversions with various platforms
- Distribution and management of generated leads
- Assist the Franchisee Ad Fund with digital marketing initiatives
- Liaison with Franchisee hired agencies
- Find & assess new vendors for digital services
- Monitor the online competitive landscape for products & franchise sales with reporting and recommendations
Qualifications
Requirements & Skills
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Facebook Business)
- Working knowledge of project management platforms (e.g., Asana)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad-words campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
