Maria Alejandra Alonso is a passionate interior designer and landscape design professional with over fifteen years of experience. Her expertise encompasses commercial interiors, park design, and landscape planting for both public and private projects. Maria Alejandra achieved her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification in 2018. Bringing a wealth of experience to the classroom, Maria Alejandra has previously taught interior design for ten years. She is thrilled to join the FIU faculty as an adjunct instructor. Maria Alejandra holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Florida International University. A seasoned traveler, she integrates her global perspective and design knowledge into her teaching, creating a dynamic learning environment for students.
