Luis Bello Caballero, Ph.D., is an architect, urban planner, and educator with experience spanning professional practice, research, and higher education. His work focuses on sustainable urban development, landscape architecture, and historic urban landscape conservation.

Dr. Bello Caballero holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from KU Leuven, Belgium, and has taught urbanism, historic preservation, and landscape-related courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. His research and professional interests include cultural heritage preservation, environmental planning, and the integration of natural and cultural systems within urban environments.

He holds academic appointments in Cuba and has participated in international research through the UNESCO Chair on Preventive Conservation, with contributions spanning Belgium, Ecuador, and Canada in collaborative projects focused on heritage management and urban sustainability.

During his professional practice, he has contributed to a wide range of landscape architecture, planning, and urban design projects in the United States and abroad. In his current role as Landscape Planner with the City of Miramar, Florida, he contributes to the planning and design of the city's landscape.
