Lumifoil/FIU Architecture Rooftop Competition

Exhibition of designs for a rooftop structure to be constructed on the Paul Cejas Architecture Building on the FIU Main Campus.

DESIGN
Kory Bieg, OTA+ , Assistant Professor The University of Texas School of Architecture
Clay Odom, studioMODO , Assistant Professor The University of Texas School of Architecture

CONCEPT
The following design is for a temporary roof canopy at the Paul L. Cejas School of Architecture.
The goal of the project, Lumifoil, is to introduce a new “intrusion” at the heart of what architect
Bernard Tschumi called the “red generator,” thereby heeding his call for provocation in the form of
an architectural intervention.
