At the intersection of global urbanization and climate change, global architectural practice and urban thinking and design are demonstrating the possibility of converging issues and approaches, moving beyond local specificities to consider instead shared concerns across differing contexts. The lecture by Amale Andraos, Dean of Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, will be focusing on the practice of WORKac as a lens through which to consider this question of convergence.
