Celebrate the opening of “Dear Miami Beach,” a new exhibition that serves as a love letter to a city shaped by its beaches, architecture, culture, and shared experiences. Featuring FIU alumni artists Anai Fonte (work featured above) and Grace Cox, alongside Christopher Mitchell, Donna Ruff, Jennay Say Qua, and Dina Knapp, the exhibition brings together artists whose lives and creative work are deeply connected to Miami Beach. Through themes ranging from iconic hotels and modernist architecture to changing shorelines, surf culture, and lush landscapes, the works explore the relationship between place, collective memory, and belonging.
