Nik Nedev is a full-time instructor in the Department of Architecture at FIU and is a partner at NC-Office, an award-winning, Miami-based architecture firm. Born in Bulgaria, Nik has many architectural interests, including drawing as a tool for conceptual investigation, performative surfaces, and urban structures and typologies. The work featured is a personal investigation on color, surfaces, and shadows. The pieces also consider the viewer in motion. This is the first solo exhibition of Nik Nedev’s paintings in Miami.
