Think you know Miami? FIU’s 3 Washington Avenue-based SoBe art institutions reflect on the city’s parallel histories and go beyond familiar narratives through a focused look at sites spanning Brownsville to Miami Beach. Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab director Rebecca Friedman will moderate presentations by artist Christina Pettersson, Historic Hampton House board chairperson Jacqui Colyer, and film director Billy Corben in conversation with Corben’s grandfather, Miami developer Jerry Cohen.

Co-hosted by Jewish Museum of Florida, Miami Beach Urban Studios, The Wolfsonian, and The Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab.
