Acrylic paint on plastic

For the transgender person suffering from dysphoria, such as myself, the body can be like a prison. Often this leaves us feeling unable to be seen for who we are. This piece represents this through the depiction of the external body as prison bars and uses the overlapping of plastic shirt forms to visualize entrapment.
