As the Film & TV Development & Production Intern, you will gain an understanding of the development process: how to generate and identify compelling story ideas for prospective projects, how to evaluate scripts and treatments, how to assemble writers lists for active projects and how to identify meaningful co-producing partners. The goal will be to give this intern the opportunity to witness the development process spearheaded by the team to grow his/her understanding of how content is produced for screen. What you’ll do:
- Assemble writer/director lists for active projects
- Read submission materials (scripts and treatments) and provide feedback
- Track projects in development at other studios/production companies
- Research rights around compelling IP and music assets in the Concord universe
- Create development materials (one-pagers, pitch decks) for active projects if necessary.
What you need to succeed:
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university
- This internship is a paid remote internship and requires a working, reliable internet connection and a productive work space.
- The timeline of this internship programs runs from June 2021 through August 2021
- Candidate must be available to work at least 20 hours/week for the duration of the internship
