As the Licensing & Customer Service Coordinator

What you’ll do:

  • Licensing rental materials from the Boosey & Hawkes catalog and agency classical music catalogs for orchestras in North & South America
  • Providing front-line customer service and monitoring inquiry queues
  • Assigning sheet music assets and deliverables in a timely manner
  • Administering licenses to orchestras, ensembles and universities
  • Maintaining positive relationships with music artists, librarians and presenters
  • Informing customers on issues regarding copyright and licensing
  • Partner with distribution center regarding the timely delivery of sheet music assets
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and email correspondence
  • Database/inventory management and general support of the department

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • College or conservatory degree in music, or equivalent experience in classical music
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; able to learn and navigate proprietary software
  • Minimum 1+ years customer service and/or arts administration experience
  • Positive, flexible attitude and personality
