A Day in the Life…

Disney Music Group production is responsible for design, preparation, collection, distribution, and archival of audio, video and graphic assets for the group. This fast-paced department seeks an intern to support the department while learning product development and production of music product.

Responsibilities:

You will…

  • Coordinate department needs/workflows for Walt Disney Records music product packaging creation, including routing, approvals and entry level graphic design, working with director of Product Development and the Creative team
  • Coordinate asset collection, storage and distribution of audio and audio-visual assets
  • Conduct research and participate in catalog release planning, brainstorming and product development as appropriate
  • Assist with asset preservation and restoration as needed
  • Liaise with other departments to fulfill requests for assets
  • Assist in development and implementation of improved policies and procedures
  • Perform general asset database entries
  • Perform general procurement and administrative tasks

  • Experience with research methods

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or higher or must have graduated within the past 18 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree

Additional Information:

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 18 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Work Environment

  • This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are August/September 2021 through January 2022
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours on Pacific Standard Time for the duration of the internship
