The Fearless Records Marketing Department, under the direction of the Label President and Project Managers design and execute album campaigns with specific and clear goals. Campaign’s main goals are generally centered on maintaining any current fan base as well as reaching new audiences to help develop and build the artist. All the labels departments (sales, marketing, digital, streaming, publicity, international etc) collaborate on these efforts with individual department goals that help support the key marketing initiatives outlined for the album cycle.       

 

As the Fearless Records Marketing Intern, you will engage in real-time marketing for tours, album cycle campaigns, contesting, data collection. Interns will own the value of establishing relations in the industry with managers, artists, and label executives that will increase the intern’s own personal network’s reach and professional visibility among their peers. The intern will gain a well-rounded understanding of how an entertainment company creates products into physical and digital markets, locates and targets its consumers, and connects the consumer and the work’s creators using the current, evolving and trending mediums and platforms. They will also learn how to launch campaigns from start to finish that they can then include in their professional portfolio that they can include in school work or utilize as a case study during this experience. 

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to hone your skills and learn from the best, while making professional connections. Our goal is to help you develop your talents and skills to support the success of the team and to mentor you so that you can grow your skills as a marketer in the music industry. Our Virtual Spring Internship Program will run from Monday, January 24th to Friday, April 1st and students can work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week.This internship is a paid remote internship and requires a working, reliable internet connection and a productive work space. 

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:  

  • Assisting with research and developing marketing campaigns for current and upcoming artist releases  
  • Attend marketing meetings 
  • Generate reports detailing marketing initiatives, strategies, and success 
  • Assist with marketing activations with press (Revolver, AltPress), Festival (DWP), and digital partners (Sweet) and other label events  
  • Submit art requests for physical and digital assets needed to launch campaigns

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:  

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university 
  • Have a interest and familiarity with Fearless Records and its roster.
  • This internship is a paid remote internship and requires a working, reliable internet connection and a productive work space. 
  • The timeline of this internship programs runs from Monday, January 24th to Friday, April 1st
  • Candidate must be available to work at least 20 hours/week for the duration of the internship
