Holder Construction, an ENR Top 20 Contractor, is seeking a Videographer/Editor. The Videographer will collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, and Video Production Manager on various internal and external video productions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce in house videos, shoot and edit content for original and recurring videos.
- Collaborate with the creative team from pre through postproduction. Understand the goals for each project. Capture and manage assets. Produce impactful videos.
- Work with project teams and company leadership. Coordinate and maintain production schedules.
- Stay up to date on the latest video creative trends. Follow developments in video production, multimedia technologies, and live production/streaming.
Filming:
- Plan video shoots and manage solo shoots as needed.
- Work with a variety of digital cameras and lenses (Panasonic DVX200, Nikon D600, Osmo Pocket 2).
- Direct fellow associates in performance and help them shine in delivery of scripted and unscripted content.
- This position will be split between shooting on a project site and in the corporate office. Time will be spent on a construction jobsite 1-3 days a week depending on need.
Editing:
- Upload and edit raw footage, review drafts with the team, publish finished videos across multiple platforms.
- Color grade footage, apply motion graphics, perform audio clean up.
- Create a story from captured footage on non-scripted productions.
- Use stock services for video templates, clips, and music.
Requirements for this position include:
- 2-5 years of experience in a video production / editing role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Video Production / Media related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, Lightroom) and Microsoft Products (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding and experience with camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Experience in writing, developing, and producing video content from start to finish.
- Creative writing, storyboarding, and strong visual storytelling skills.
Other abilities:
- Photography skills desired (shooting & editing).
- Opportunity to train on drones and become a licensed drone pilot.
