All internships will be a hybrid, in-person (based on your manager’s in office schedule) unless explicitly stated as a virtual opportunity. 

Responsibilities

The Content Experiences teams sits at the intersection of strategy and operations, acting as a technology incubator within the Global Strategy group. The team conceptualizes, builds, and executes new streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) services to market through both existing and new content products at Warner Bros. Discovery. We’ve worked closely with the content and product teams across many iconic brands like CNN, Bleacher Report, NCAA March Madness, Adult Swim, TruTV, and more to deliver unique streaming and content experiences. This team member would be an immediate contributor to our team’s mission to deliver greater monetization opportunities to the company while improving the fan experience.

 

The Daily:

  • The Content Programming & Social Media Marketing Intern will contribute to the overall programming strategy and execution for our streaming platforms and creation of social media posts highlighting our content. 
  • Create schedules for our streaming channels
  • Curate Video-On-Demand collections from series, episodes, and movies
  • Monitor analytics for streaming channels and VOD to find usable insights
  • Perform daily quality control for streaming channels and VOD to ensure proper functioning
  • Assist with marketing requests from outside partners
  • Create social media posts highlighting out platform and content

Qualifications

  • Must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Photoshop, canva experience

And finally, what to know before applying:

  • Our Spring 2023 program is a 12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, February 6th through Friday, April 28th, 2023
  • Part time-schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
