Types of Roles:
Broadcast Engineering
This department is responsible for the production and editing of shows recorded at the CBS Broadcast Center in NYC. We support all broadcast systems including audio, video, control systems and IP infrastructure as it relates to broadcast specific equipment. We interact with vendors for both support and procurement. This department is presently engaged in constructing some new audio rooms and post production editing suites for a resident client.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering as a preferred field of study
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word.
- Experience with Audio or Video
Broadcast Distribution
Broadcast Distribution is responsible for the transmission of the CBS Network to 240 affiliates. Our department also provides all inbound contribution transmissions for Sports, News and Entertainment.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of advanced excel features
- Interests in statistic to drive change
- Experience in Data Analysis
- Highly organized
- Interest in television or media
