If you are looking for term of service with a diverse group of people and making a positive impact within your community, we are excited to share our opportunities with you!Under the guidance of our Camp Directors and Leadership team, members can support camper participation in a wide range of activities. Typical camp programs include- Arts & Crafts, Sports & Games, Drama, Music & Dance, canoe trips, archery, climbing and ropes course, swimming, camp out, talent show, dances, community outings, and so much more. You have an opportunity to build self-confidence, promote independence, physical activity, and advocate for an inclusive environment for all abilities.Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities: The AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator will provide program support by recruiting volunteers to help with camp programs in order to serve more children and adults with disabilities at both Respite Camp and Camp Wawbeek.  The Volunteer Coordinator will serve a minimum 900 hours from May 2023-August 2023. Member is expected to serve at Easterseals Wisconsin Camp summer camp weeks (10 camper weeks, 3 weeks training). Primary service site will be in Wisconsin Dells, WI with expected travel to the Easterseals Wisconsin main office in Madison, WI for monthly agency meetings and other required days. Occasional travel throughout the state will be required for volunteer recruitment purposes. Member will also be expected to attend a volunteer management training series (e.g. United Way).
