The Job
Magnolia Network is looking for a creative individual to join our team as the Photo & Design Intern. Reporting to the Photo Manager, the individual will work closely with the brand creative team to brainstorm ideas for various show photography, key art and general brand and series assets, assist with asset management, and work to assess and refine individual strengths.
The Daily
- Watch episodes and brainstorm ideas for series marketing, including photography and design
- Attend weekly internal brand creative team and wider marketing team meetings, and calls with external photographer partners
- Assist in the clean up and organization of the photo and asset archives
- Research new photographers and creative talent to add to our roster
- Help select images for recipes
- Ingest and QC production deliverables
- Light photo editing and color correction
- Shadow other teams such as AV and Creative Operations providing an overarching view into the Brand Creative department
The Essentials
- Interest in television, art, and design
- A working knowledge of the Adobe Suite
- Detail oriented & strong communication
- Creative portfolio is a bonus
- Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
