Job Posting: Campus Recruiter

As the Campus Recruiter for PLS, you will be responsible for finding entry-level sales talent on college campuses within your assigned geographic territory. You will maintain an active presence as the go-to person between prospective candidates and a fulfilling PLS career.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department while building relationships with stakeholders at the university level, including professors, athletic coaches, student leadership, career services, and many others. 

This is an in-office role, with 50-75% local travel depending on the season. 

More on what you will do: 

  • Act as point person for all PLS-related matters on campus. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at top schools. 
  • Plan, attend, and execute all levels of events, from career fairs and networking sessions to off-site gatherings at PLS branches. 
  • Source candidates through campus platforms, social media, and job boards. 
  • Build a pipeline of candidates to start their sales career at PLS. 
  • Articulate the PLS value proposition and career path to applicants. 
  • Represent PLS at 10-15 local colleges and universities near your office. 
  • Liaise with branch management and personnel on maintaining an active campus presence. 
  • Document your progress, metrics, and relationships using PLS software. 
  • Identify, recruit, and select interns for all PLS departments. 

As a Campus Recruiter, you will be expected to have prior experience with: 

  • Leadership – in the classroom, on the playing field, socially, or anywhere else! 
  • On-campus involvement (ex. Greek life, fundraisers, community service). 
  • Networking and public speaking. 

Exceptional candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 
  • Previous experience working with CRM and/or ATS software systems. 
  • Comfortability being in an ambassador or public-facing position. 
  • Event planning and coordination experience. 
  • Professional and active social media presence. 
  • Reliable transportation.
