A day in the life…
As a Synergy & Partnership Marketing Intern with Disney’s Yellow Shoes, you will have the opportunity to support planning, execution and recap/analysis of various marketing tactics, events and productions with Synergy partners including Disney+, The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Music Group, Disney Theatrical and D23 to name a few. As a Synergy & Partnership Marketing Intern, you can expect to…
- Support the planning, execution, and recap/analysis of various promotional and production activities under the supervision of the Synergy team.
- Develop and execute marketing plans for Synergy related programs including research, gathering assets, drafting copy, routing for reviews/approval, overseeing distribution and recap/analysis.
- Assist with sourcing and distributing creative assets.
- Develop recaps/analysis of Synergy programs including social media monitoring, key metrics and creative samples.
- Support events including invitations/registration, check-in, ordering/maintaining supplies, and on-site event logistics.
- Manage department calendar and project tracking/reporting documents.
- Order and manage promotional merchandise development and distribution.
What we are looking for…
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to build relationships and interface with cross-functional teams in a professional way.
- Advanced knowledge and comfort working with PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Strong technical understanding of and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, including Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, handling several projects at once and meeting tight deadlines.
- Possession of a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality.
- Resourcefulness, and experience working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Valid US driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work experience with The Walt Disney Company.
- Familiarity and knowledge of Disney Parks and associated products.
- Knowledge of production.
- Copywriting.
Required Education:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as a junior or senior, or graduated within six months of application submission, earning a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Film Studies, or closely related field.
Additional Information:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 – June 2024
