Your New Role
The Global Animation, Genre and Live Action TV Franchise Management and Marketing team, oversees iconic animation properties such as Looney Tunes and Rick and Morty, classic horror and holiday films like IT and Elf, and beloved live action TV series like Friends and Abbott Elementary. The team is responsible for the global management of the franchises which includes driving the strategic planning process, Franchise tool development, and the marketing activation of all franchise activities.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Support the development and implementation of franchise strategies and activation plans that drive growth for the CP business, including building long-term growth opportunities and executing franchise marketing campaigns
- Support the Director on planning and execution of high-profile 2024 franchise events.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for brand milestone planning for CP
- Conduct competitive research and presents findings
- Cultivate an interest and expertise in trends and best practices for CP influencer and branded content in the digital space
Qualifications & Experience
- Solid knowledge of PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track with minimal direction
- Strong presentation development skills (design and verbal)
- Solid knowledge of social media with clear understanding of marketing principles
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic research methods and strategies preferred.
- Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

The duration of the program is 11 weeks
Program dates:
- Start Date: January 29th
- End Date: April 19th
Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from October through mid-December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
