Activity Therapist | Palm Point Behavioral Health

Palm Point Behavioral Health is seeking a master’s level Activity Therapist, or a bachelor’s level Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). 

• Master’s Level: Master’s degree in Art Therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, or physical therapy. 
• Bachelor’s Level: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with CTRS certification.

The Activity Therapist conducts activity therapy to improve patient functioning and independence, and to provide activity resources and opportunities for all patients with a focus on improving health and well-being. 

Responsibilities include leading therapeutic activity groups, conducting activity assessments, maintaining health and safety of patients, completing and documenting evaluations of progress and participating in treatment team.
