Digital interns at HeadCount will work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X and will assist in the management of our social media presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As digital marketing intern, your primary responsibilities will revolve around creating social media content, both video and still graphics, for our social media channels, and assist the Digital Marketing Manager in management of our presence on social media.
Key responsibilities include:
- Content Creation: Develop and curate creative and compelling content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
- Community Engagement: Interact with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and feedback, fostering a sense of community and addressing customer inquiries.
- Social Media Analytics: Assist in generating reports on social media activities.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and share as necessary with Digital Marketing Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent writing skills
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
- Creativity and an eye for design, with experience in content creation tools
- Nonprofit or social activist experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills required
- A proactive attitude, with a desire to take initiative and contribute to the team’s success.
- Must supply own laptop
This is a paid internship that requires a minimum of 15 hours (Fall and Spring) or 30 hours (Summer) per week, during the eastern time business hours of 10AM – 6PM. Intern must be able to work from a remote location. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your professional skills while gaining valuable and high-profile experience in the political, music or nonprofit arenas.
