Charles Dye is a Grammy-winning mixer/producer, award-winning filmmaker, and passionate educator with a career defined by innovation and creativity. Dye has recorded and mixed records for iconic artists such as Ariana Grande, Jon Bon Jovi, Shakira, Aerosmith, Kiss, and Lauryn Hill, with his work contributing to the sale of 95 million records worldwide.

Recently, Dye has expanded into Dolby Atmos projects, delivering immersive mixes for some of these legendary artists. As an early adopter of groundbreaking technologies like Pro Tools, Dye has consistently pushed the boundaries of music production and set new industry standards.

In addition to his renowned studio work, Dye is a trailblazer in AI-driven music production. He hosts the AI Music Tech Show, a series chronicling the transformative role of AI in music creation and performance. Dye is also currently developing several AI music-related initiatives, including an AI Music course he aspires to bring to students at FIU.

As a filmmaker, Dye studied screenwriting at UCLA and wrote and directed TWO SECRETS, an award-winning short film officially selected for 16 film festivals. His screenplay BUTTERFLY ranked as a Top 7 Thriller Short on Coverfly’s The Red List and is currently being developed as an anime film.

Dye also served as Director of Production at the Emmy-winning dubbing company The Kitchen, where he led the team to deliver 30 hours of TV and film content weekly for major studios and networks. Today, Dye’s work continues to inspire and innovate across music, film, and technology, with a focus on equipping the next generation of creators for an ever-evolving creative landscape.
