Student clubs and organizations are an important part of Florida International University and the School of Music. They provide students with a variety of opportunities not usually found as part of the classroom experience. Student organizations allow its members to develop interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills in a creative and supportive environment. Most have regular rehearsal times and require a strong commitment.

Kappa Kappa Psi
Kappa Kappa Psi fraternal organization promotes the advancement of college and university bands through dedicated service and support to bands; comprehensive education; leadership opportunities; and recognition; for the benefit of its members and society.
Mu Phi Epsilon is a professional music fraternity. The mission of Mu Phi Epsilon is to provide service to others through music, to promote and advance music in the community and throughout the world, extend the bond of friendship among its members, develop members’ leadership qualities, provide inspiration and encouragement from members who are prominent in the professional world, and encourage loyalty between Mu Phi Epsilon and the School of Music. Members have the eligibility for Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation scholarships and grant support.
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity is a national men’s music fraternity dedicated to the support and advancement of music in America. Sinfonia works to foster music at the University level, in the community, and nationally. The group is open to men interested in music.
NafMe (National Assocation for Music Education) Collegiate Chapter
Founded in 1907, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is among the world’s largest arts education organizations and is the only association that addresses all aspects of music education.
